Question: Unable to start mongod service in 5.0 and connect to mongo shell

Unable to start mongod service in 5.0 and connect to mongo shell:

systemctl start mongod.service and tail the log, I see that process is getting killed.

Not sure what has changed in 5.0, I tried stopping the service, deleting the data directory and starting the instance which is not working

logs with verbosity enabled.
