      Adding support for the device authorization grant flow will ensure that the legacy shell can be used to simulate the entire user experience for authenticating against an identity provider, retrieving an access token, and then sending that to the server for authentication. This ticket will ensure that this can all work out with automated user input so that it functions on Evergreen.
