Description
Hi,
I am setting the dbpath in the /etc/mongodb.conf file but it isn't being used because of the /etc/init.d/mongodb script. I had to create a /etc/default/mongodb file in order to override the data directory when I would have expected setting "dbpath" in the configuration file would have done this. I noticed this when checking the running mongo process and it said it was using /var/lib/mongodb as it's data directory even though I was setting "dbpath" in /etc/mongodb.conf. This seems like a bug or at the least a documentation problem. After setting the data directory in /etc/default/mongodb files were then being created in /data which is where I wanted them to go. Please investigate.
Thanks in advance!
