"Our smallest dedicated Atlas tier is 10GB, so 90% is 1GB which is quite a lot. We expose this parameter to Atlas, so we can have them increase the value on different Atlas tiers if they would like us to cancel index builds before scaling occurs. So I say that we set the default to 500MB, which is 95% of our smallest tier."
