      It seems that this code is no longer necessary.

      Since OP_QUERY is deprecated since mongo 5.0 and removed in 5.1 we might never be in a situation where `$cmd` would be part of the namespace.

      This ticket is about investigating if it is ok to remove this code and if so, to simply remove it.
