      TSAN crashes on symbolization as noted in BF-28485. We should use max.hirschhorn@mongodb.com 's suggested workaround noted https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/BF-28485?focusedCommentId=5489527&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Acomment-tabpanel#comment-5489527.

      We should confirm this doesn't sweep any new issues under the rug, make the suggested fix, and prevent TSAN from being built on any non shared object builds.
