I think we may be able to refactor getExtraIndexKeysCheckLookupStart to be done within _getCatalogSnapshotAndRunReverseLookup if there's no start/lookupStart passed in so that we can avoid doing the extra coll/index existence check and index cursor opening just to do it again at the start of _getCatalogSnapshotAndRunReverseLookup
