~~SERVER-71068~~ addressed the problem related to the "gTimeseriesMetricIndexes" feature flag check during startup. However, another production incident has occurred involving the "gCollModIndexUnique" feature flag which will be addressed in ~~SERVER-87373~~. We should audit the code to identify if any other feature flags that might be checked during startup before FCV initializes, in order to avoid similar issues in the future.
