The current implementation of ingress admission control reports waitingForIngressAdmission in currentOp and ingressAdmissionDuration in slow query log. It would be better if we could track and report admission control diagnostics in a way that makes it easier to add new admission control mechanisms and that makes it easier to follow the passage of the operation through various admission control mechanisms.
