Starting 8.0, all MongoDs part of a sharded cluster act as routers. That is, FTDC machinery is producing metrics for router collectors, the same as MongoS does.
Because of SERVER-87512 is not yet completed, router serverStatus metrics could be wrong.
The goal of this ticket is to not include router server status collector into FTDC MongoD, as we prefer to maintain not retrieving routing statistics (same as 7.0 - shards already having routing capabilities) rather than produce potentially wrong metrics.
