      This caused our TSAN images to fail. We need to revert this.

       

      Our TSAN builds were failing for unrelated reasons at the time so I just merged it without complete testing on TSAN beforehand and assumed it would be fine because it passed on our other antithesis variants but that turned out to be a mistake.
