Today, there does not exist a straightforward way to check consistency of the catalog between nodes in a replica set. It seems we can make use of the $listCatalog command to create a script that can do this check, as $listCatalog outputs the on-disk representation of the catalog.

This may not be a performant operation to run, so we should make sure that this tool is not run continuously on large clusters.
