In BF-32684, there was a rare incident that a process for running mongo shell with a test script failed before entering the mongo shell at all. With the limited information we have, it is hard to understand what could cause such failure.

Therefore, this ticket suggests to log a few more information such as PID and exit code. Potentially, the exit code could tell us the reason why a process failed in such incident.
