SERVER-92530 has recently introduced a 500 msecs deadline to filtering metadata refresh requests when these get issued by mongod nodes within the context of a user transaction.

This is now causing some spurious regressions in tests that are issuing transactions without any retry loop. The objective of this tickets is to make these tests resilient to retriable errors.
