The jstests/core_sharding/ddl/rename_collection_sharded.js file introduced by SERVER-95590 is meant to contain test cases for behaviors of the DDL that are specific to sharded clusters. Nevertheless, some of them are expected to also be valid for replica set and single instance topologies - and should be hence defined within the jstests/core/ddl/rename_collection_sharded.js file.
