      The API at the WiredTiger level is as follows:

      Top level config: live_restore

      Subconfig:

      Enabled

      Threads_max

      Path

       

       

      The server should accept a path, and a thread count. The enabled config would be configured internally, i think.

      SERVER-98978 will add testing which covers API usage cases once logging is supported in WT-13792.
