      Wrote a report with the performance results of running the 100GB resharding workload (after the SERVER-112444 donor count improvement).

      High level summary: 

      • No significant performance impact from enabling validations during resharding
        • Latency of CRUD ops during resharding between feature flag off and on runs were similar
        • Duration of phases between feature flag off and on runs were similar
        • Average disk and cpu utilization between feature flag on and off runs were similar
      • Given the performance results, validations appear safe to enable with an incremental rollout
