      SERVER-98464 introduced the jstests/core_sharding/ddl/enable_sharding.js test file, which showed consistent failures when run against the sharding_uninitialized_fcv_jscore_passthrough suite. The objective of this ticket is to understand (and address if possible) the root cause of the incompatibility.
