As per today, there is a subset of test cases that cannot be executed in suites that kill cluster nodes in background because they rely on custom values of runtime server parameters (which get reset once the killed node gets restarted).
Bridging such a gap would allow to further extend the coverage provided by the JS core ecosystem (and ease the migration of existing logic from the jstests/sharding folder).
