    Description

1GB/s isn't enough precision. It should either stop at MB/s and show 1234m or do 1.23g. As a general rule it is probably better to not bump to a higher unit until you have 2 or 3 digits in that unit (ie stay with k until you hit 10MB/s). However, this is especially a problem for GB because 10Gbps networks top out at slightly under 1.25GB/s so the difference between 1.00GB and 1.2GB is very significant.
