When running mongoimport it always spews out progress information. There is no way to prevent this. I use a pipeline with mongoimport last and its progress information screws up diagnostic output from earlier components.

While I could direct mongoimport's stderr to /dev/null that would mean it wouldn't show any genuine errors that occur.
