The tools idiosyncratic method of working with a vendor directory and GOPATH make it so that one can't just clone the mongo-tools into a normal GOPATH and have things just work. We should make it possible to do so.
Some ideas:
- symlink directories under vendor/src, e.g. link vendor/github.com to vendor/src/github.com
