Investigate test failures when migrating macOS x86 to 11.00

      Problem Statement/Rationale

      The test suite fails when run against macOS 11.00 x86. It succeeds with 10.15 x86 and even 11.00 ARM. We should fix whatever is causing 11.00 x86 to fail.

      Steps to Reproduce

      Change macOS 10.15 in config.yml and config-pvt.yml to macOS 11.00, submit to Evergreen (evergreen patch -y), then run all macOS x86 tests.

      Expected Results

      All green.

      Actual Results
