      will need to ensure that the OIDC state is shared with the various MongoClient instances inside a VSCode extension session using the mechanism described in the “External channel for sharing tokens” section of Technical Design: Implement OIDC auth in the DevTools

      This task depends on COMPASS-5955 in order to add OIDC functionality to VSCode.
