With the new addition of the pre task setup environment, we can now clean and package all of the common variant variables. The idea of this ticket is to review CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE, smp_command, CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH, CMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE, format_test_setting, LD_PRELOAD into the setup environment task or as expansions.
