In test/format, ops tracing can be enabled which is very useful for debugging. However, it has perf impacts and can alter the behaviour of the test. This ticket should investigate whether we could enable a subset of operations for all tests. If it is not possible, it would be great to create a dedicated test using the config from WT-11507 with ops tracing to hopefully get more debugging information in case it hits the issue again.
