The backport to 4.4 WT-8570 found test_checkpoint_snapshot05.py failing, though it works on develop.

I suspect this is due to the racy nature of the test in determining that a checkpoint snapshot has begun; and I speculate the window of this race can be reduced, with a hope of making the test more robust. As it is not possible to change the nature of the test.
