small-lsm performance regression

      Hi @sueloverso, as expected, the LSM thread pool change has introduced some performance regressions.

      Can you please take a look at small-lsm? I suspect we're either not creating Bloom filters or not merging in time for the queries, because performance has dropped significantly.
