This ticket is a placeholder for discussing and analyzing what we see in runs of WiredTiger tests that perform incremental backup. We should compare several runs of the three tests to see if any patterns emerge. The three tests are:

• test/csuite/timestamp_abort with the -B flag.
• test/csuite/incr_backup.
• test/format with incremental backups enabled.

This ticket needs WT-12357 completed for the latter two, to save backup directories. timestamp_abort is already in a state where its backups can be analyzed.
