The wtperf bench program has support for backup already. But the backup thread in the program only does the read portion of a backup. (On the assumption that the read is what impacts the program and often the data read is sent to another machine or program for writing.)

We'd like to evaluate different workloads that can mimic a collection and indexes and see how POC changes might affect them. So extend wtperf's backup to actually take a backup.
