As part of the effort in looking at eviction walk strategies inside WT-12608, we have come across a weakness in the random walk strategy. The ticket describes potential bugs and random skews that can potentially occur when choosing the random walk strategy. Currently the reproducers are on mongodb sys perf patches and can't be reproduced locally in WiredTiger. This ticket deals with finding methods to reproduce this weakness in randomness in wiredtiger.
