      Since WT-12894, format.sh script doesn't work on machines that are not ubuntu. 

      cat: /proc/meminfo: No such file or directory
./format.sh: line 596: ( * 8) / (14 * 1024 * 10) : syntax error: operand expected (error token is "* 8) / (14 * 1024 * 10) ")

      This ticket is to allow format.sh to be run on all other machines as well.
