It would be useful to have a command-line option in test/suite/run.py to temporarily ignore unexpected output. When developing a new feature or debugging, it is sometimes useful to log extra messages or to add printf statements—and it would be nice if it wouldn't result in a test failure. (We should, of course, continue to let tests fail in Evergreen due to unexpected output.)
