Due to subtle changes in Eviction behavior introduced by WT-12644, some workloads show worse performance. Specifically, BF-35698 exposes a degradation in dbcheck with extra keys.
dbcheck is a background process ran by Server and user operations are not affected. But in case when user workloads work similarly to dbcheck, there can be a need to revert to the old behavior.
