This ticket should only be considered after SERVER-99341 is finished.

SERVER-99341 will update mongo's perf testing to compile with bazel. WiredTiger is already compiling our mongo perf test (many-collections-test) with bazel, and is using --config=opt.

SERVER-99341 may use --config=opt, or it may use --config=opt_release. If it uses the latter we should update our evergreen task to use opt_release as well. If they use opt we can close this ticket as already done.

If we make a change please inform the test baron as this could produce a large number of performance changepoints.
