Currently WiredTiger does not have any performance tests that focus on testing eviction efficiency.
The only measurement we have of eviction is if they are caught in an cache stuck issue. This ticket aims to investigate how we can appropiately and accurately measure eviction efficiency. To do this we will need to:
- Add new performance metric statistics for eviction
- Create performance testing through wtperf or workgen.
