The random_abort test in verify mode (-v) requires a database to be created and preserved beforehand. However, the current help message—both in the source file and shown with the -h flag—does not mention this requirement, which may lead to confusion. This ticket proposes improving the help message for random_abort -v to clearly communicate this prerequisite. Same changes could be looked at for other abort tests that require the same process, such as schema_abort and timestamp_abort.
