We have added support for switch mode in disaggregated storage in test/format. While the basic functionality is in place, additional data validation is needed to ensure data integrity. This involves verifying that the data inserted is exactly what is read back, helping detect corruption or inconsistency bugs. One possible approach is to use mirrored tables in test/format for cross-checking.

      Scope:

Data validation in switch mode is a bit complex, we’ll start with an initial investigation to figure out how to validate data in each switch. Then we can make use of mirrored tables for disagg for data validation in switch mode.
