A simple test attached inserts key 'M' into the stable table.  On the follower, key 'Z' is also inserted.  Then, on follower search_near with key 'A'.  We expect 'M', but get 'Z'.

In addition to fixing this failure, the test case should be fleshed out with other cases, including removing keys on the follower, to test navigating search_near through tombstones.
