All disagg tests are currently running with diagnostic build on Evergreen. We should add tests to verify disagg with release (non-diagnostic) build, gaining better confidence of disagg quality. For context WT-16182 is a recently identified test failure with disagg+release build, and there could be more potentially.
Outcome:
- New builders/tasks are added to Evergreen to test disagg (leader, follower, etc) using release build periodically
Note: if any novel failures are identified by the new builders/tasks, separate tickets should be filed to evaluating/addressing those failures.
