We should add a validation test in which we run WiredTiger with the shared disk cache enabled and verify that no memory leaks occur.

Ideally, the test would let wiredtiger run for 10–20 minutes, then walk through every entry in the hash table and validate that there are no dangling entries—for example, entries with a reference count of 0, or entries referenced by a page that no longer exists in the cache.
