Recently, the Foundations team completed the “Identifying Testing Gaps” project, the primary goal of which was to review our testing landscape and identify potential testing gaps. The final results of this project can be found here.

During the analysis, we also identified several potential gaps in testing areas owned by other teams.

This ticket is for the testing gaps identified in the Persistence team area. Please note that we do not have deep expertise in this part of the codebase, and many of these findings were initially surfaced with the help of AI. As a result, we cannot say with certainty whether they represent genuine testing gaps or false positives.

Each team should evaluate these findings independently and decide on the appropriate course of action. If none of the identified items appear useful or actionable, please feel free to close the ticket without further work.
