LSM and YCSB 50/50 - Is it scale up to the amount of handles w/o deletes?

I’m running a standalone w/ LSM and YCSB 50/50 traffic

The performance characteristic seems like a foot print of a handle leak, but I think this is not a handle leak b/c the traffic is mostly adding and reading data.

Is it means that LSM will scale up to the amount of file descriptors / handles? Or we have a mechanism to close the handle after a threshold .
