I can setup a (somewhat pathological) use case that triggers a WT_ROLLBACK return from a truncate, when the truncate doesn't overlap with other updates.

Relevant bits of information:
Cache size 2GB (relatively small).
32 insert threads.
Checkpoint every 60 seconds.
Truncating large ranges (I'm not convinced this part is required)
