Description
There is a performance advantage to disabling I/O buffering in my experiments since Windows is not starved for memory. When Windows buffers WT files, in many cases I have seen it evict mongod.exe pages instead of the file cache pages under memory presssure. This creates a performance problem by creating a continuous stream of reads and writes to the page file.
