WiredTiger server threads should integrate with mongodb debugging utilities

      In particular, as part of SERVER-27727 we exposed thread names and thread idleness indicators in a way that our gdb scripts can take advantage of. This function is used to set the thread name. Thread idleness is indicated by calling these methods.

      We should find a way to have wiredtiger server threads use this functionality to improve the debugging experience in mongodb.
