I am trying to run a single node mongodb in UAT env on AWS using a production EBS volume snapshot from production but mongod service is failing to start. First the newly created volume takes a long time as mongod does some sampling and then when the service starts i see all the databases listed but do not see any collections inside it.My prod is a 3 node replica set , i take the latest snapshot from the prod generate a volume , copy the volume to non prod VPC and attach to the device for the mongod on UAT.
