      Description

It is possible that the recover to a timestamp work in MongoDB will require switching which tables are logged at runtime. If that functionality is required - we need to consider if there are special upgrade/downgrade steps, or a particular process that's required to ensure it's safe to alter table settings.

It's possible that the work to restart WiredTiger within a running MongoDB server (SERVER-29213) will simplify what is needed from WiredTiger.
