Certain operations require that log archiving not happen. I.e. the description for the log=(archiving) configuration says automatically archive unneeded log files. without really defining what unneeded is.

We should add a sentence to backup.dox and cursor-log.dox to make clear that backup cursors and log cursors disable archiving while they're open.
