We have encountered hard to reproduce problems in the past related to how the sweep server interacts with other things in the system, several recently due to the sweep server also becoming responsible for cleaning up lookaside entries.

It would be useful to add a mode to the sweep server where it operated more aggressively, in order to uncover race conditions more reliably.

An example of such a problem was WT-4243.

It may be possible to use the existing timing_stress_for_test configuration option to control enabling/disabling.
